A nurse from UW called. They are prepping Patrick to take out the old heart as soon as the new one arrives in the OR.

He's doing good! I'm so relieved they finally had someone reach out to me with an update.

My thoughts have been ping-ponging around to a million different subjects, but Andrew is never far from my focus. He is giving us the greatest gift anyone could give, and it is costing him and his family dearly. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Andrew, we love you already.

3/30/23 8:45pm UPDATE!

A friend was able to procure an update!

The surgery is in progress and Patrick is doing well. We probably won't get anymore updates until the procedure is done.

3/30/23 7:13pm NO UPDATE

I haven't heard from anyone involved in the transplant since I spoke with Patrick at 2:47p. I'm still packing, planning, and ready to head to the airport at midnight with the kids.

Just want to let everyone know I'm not just avoiding updating 🥰 As soon as I hear anything I will post again.
