This goober will be on his way home tonight ❤ Thank you to everyone who sent prayers and positive thoughts! Patrick has too much work left here on earth to leave it prematurely 😊 Too many laughs, too many lives to affect, too many good deeds to accomplish. His work isn't done! We will keep you guys updated over the coming months about his condition, and the actual results of this ablation as they become more apparent. He could either have a marked decrease in VTs, or at least a decrease in their severity; or there could be no change; or his condition could worsen. We can hope for one thing, but need to be prepared for anything. And yes, we are already in good spirits about the possibility of Patrick living in Seattle while waiting for a heart transplant. This is how our recent conversation went: ME: The kids and I will book cheap tickets every few months to come see you. PATRICK: That sounds good. ME: So you'll have to kick your girlfriend out while we stay with you. PATRICK: No, you'll just have to put up with her while you're there. ME: That's fine. I'll leave my boyfriend here to keep an eye on the house. 😂 We had a good laugh over that. We all know his girlfriend will be a houseplant and my boyfriend is a golden retriever.
